Some SJDT Moments |

Blackburn Station Clock. Taken to show what time we had got to the station but serves to remind us know of things past |
Cheque presentation - one of many during our journey to over £100,000 charity giving!. |
The Service Crew often complain that they haven't had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets from Eric the Raffle. This was a rare occasion when not only did a Crew member buy tickets - they won one of the cash prizes too! Keeping it in the family Eric Bond presents a somewhat embarrassed Pauline Bond with £50. |

Pauline has always had a thing about rocking horses. This one is in the foyer of Derian House and is usually ridden by a life-sized Bugs Bunny!! |
This is our not so little anymore Brazilian girl with a really long name, Ranielle Kelly Santos Sousa. We have funded her upkeep through the Tear Fund. We receive regular letters from her and the couples forming the Committee take turns in replying. She has already said thank you to us many times. It is the Day Tripper's who should be thanked - thank YOU ALL! Ranielle was 9 years old when this picture was taken. |
People make things happen
This page is given over to those moments captured by a camera that are to do with SJDT but not specifically trains.
When the SJDT arrived at its destination the Service Crew's work was not over but some time is always allowed for a meal and a little relaxation before the carriages were serviced for the return journey. Members of the Service Crew were known to have stayed on the train all the time during the lay-over to ensure passenger belongings remain safe from harm.
