Local beneficiaries
As the funds raised by the SJDT came mainly from local people it was only right that local people should benefit. That said how do you define local for a vast majority of the Day Trippers certainly come from across East Lancashire if not the whole of Lancashire.
Our definition of local was East Lancashire. It is evident form the list below that may local beneficiaries were to be found in and around Blackburn our base town. Our photograph here shows Eric Bond presenting a cheque for £200 to St. James' Church God's Gang leader, Emma Livesey in 2005.
